Programmes

• In February, we host a Carnival celebration. This is a fun, family-friendly gathering held as part of a family afternoon. For this occasion, the children dress up in various costumes. We treat our guests to freshly made traditional carnival doughnuts.
• With the arrival of spring, the children plant flowers in the nursery yard together with their educators.
• For Easter, we prepare by dyeing eggs and holding a crafts afternoon. If the weather permits an outdoor celebration, the children eagerly search for eggs hidden in the grass in the yard.
• On Father’s Day, fathers can spend a full day at our nursery with their children.
• We hold the Children’s Day celebration in June as a garden party. The early childhood educators prepare a commemorative certificate for the children who will be starting kindergarten and present it to them at this celebration.
• For prospective nursery children and their parents, we’ve organised a “Getting a Taste of the Nursery” programme before the start of the adjustment period. We warmly welcome the whole family to this event—including fathers and grandparents.
• In November, the “Pumpkin Days” are slowly becoming a tradition at our nursery. Over the course of several days, the children can participate in pumpkin-themed arts and crafts activities. They can make jack-o’-lanterns and learn about pumpkin seeds and various fall crops.
• Santa Claus visits every year and surprises the children with gifts. We say goodbye to Santa Claus with a group sing-along.
• We create a Christmas atmosphere by decorating a Christmas tree in the lobby and listening to and singing Christmas carols.

We strive, in cooperation with their families, to raise the children entrusted to our care to be open-minded, curious, receptive, independent, and respectful of the basic rules of social coexistence.

What Makes Our Nursery Unique

Art education is a priority at our nursery. With its balanced atmosphere and varied, informal activities, the nursery helps bring out the children’s individual talents and abilities. Creative activities are always experiential and tied to the seasons and holidays. We always work with the children in small groups, ensuring that each child receives individual attention. In the realm of creativity, we encourage the children’s curiosity, spirit of discovery, and interest in creating.

Additional Services

The Unified Nurseries of Józsefváros employ full-time psychologists and special education teachers, and an integrated parent-infant/early childhood consultation service is also available.

Our nursery provides temporary childcare services for families who do not use full-day care but occasionally find themselves unable to arrange childcare for their children.

Daily Schedule

A well-organised, flexible daily schedule creates the conditions for education and care and provides young children with a strong sense of security and predictability. Within the daily schedule, We structure the activities within the daily schedule to suit the children’s age, developmental level, and the current season.
